Stepping into Firefighting History

“Learning from the Past to Save Lives in the Future” – Step inside the Restored 1908 City of Columbus Fire Station #16, where we pay tribute to our firefighter’s past, present and future. Through a collection of hand-drawn, horse-drawn, and motorized fire apparatus, visitors can retrace the steps of firefighters and learn about their day-to-day lives in the engine house. Interactive displays such as an 1888 hand Drawn hand Pumper, Replica Hand Carried Water Engine and our kids space interactive fire engine and tiller drivers seat. All guests are also offered a chance to participate in age-appropriate fire safety education.

Price: Included with Central Ohio Fire Museum admission.
Registration: No registration required
Parking Information: Limited Free Parking in our attached brick driveway and lot. Paid lots beside and behind the museum ranging from $10 flat fee beside us to hourly on street or behind us.
