City Critters: Biodiversity at the OSU Wetlands
Presented by: The Olentangy River Wetland Research Park
Join us at the Olentangy River Wetlands Research Park for our first-ever Bioblitz!
Throughout the day, you’ll work alongside experts and students from The Ohio State University to document the biodiversity of the park using data sheets and the iNaturalist app.
Most activities will take place during the day (before 5:00 PM) and will include a mix of guided walks with park staff and specialized walks led by OSU researchers and students. During these hours, there will be a higher number of staff and faculty on site to support your exploration.
In the evening, the event will transition to more self-guided exploration, with a few additional specialized walks still available. Staffing will be lighter later in the day, but someone will be on-site at all times to assist as needed.
Come explore, learn, and help us discover the incredible biodiversity of the wetlands!
